PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE YOUR DIABETIC PET TO A RAW DIET WITHOUT THE SUPPORT OF YOUR PET HEALTH PROFESSIONAL.

Diabetic pets can do very well on a raw diet. Diabetes is essentially an inability of the body to metabolise carbohydrates: there is a growing body of evidence (particularly in human medicine) to suggest that removing carbohydrates from the diet can greatly improve health outcomes for diabetic patients.

Please do NOT change your diabetic pet to a raw diet without the support of your regular veterinarian. The transition could be dangerous if not managed very carefully. Contact Dr. Judy Jasek, DVM to help your pet control diabeties in the most wholistic way.
