Raw Dog Food Shipping

All products ship frozen in insulated boxes with dry ice when transit time exceeds one business day. Boxes are limited to 40 lbs to leave room for a proper block of dry ice. If your order arrives thawed or partially defrosted, this is normal and safe, pet food can be thawed and refrozen without issue.

Dry ice begins evaporating as soon as it's exposed to air, so your box may not arrive with ice still visible. This doesn't mean your shipment went out without ice. As long as your food is cold on arrival, it was properly protected during transit and is safe to feed.

Non-liquid supplements ship alongside your frozen food, wrapped in silver packaging to protect them from the dry ice (please don't mistake this for packaging waste). Liquid supplements ship separately in their own box.

We do not ship orders that would arrive over a weekend or major holiday. Transit time listed next to your UPS shipping rate reflects the number of business days to delivery; for example, an order shipped Monday with 2-day transit should arrive Wednesday. We recommend placing your order by Sunday or Monday to avoid weekend delays.

Delays occasionally happen during transit and typically aren't cause for concern given the coolant in your box. If your package is delayed, contact UPS at 1-800-377-4877, let them know the contents are perishable, and request immediate delivery or cold storage at the local hub until delivery. Then text us at 720-619-1190 with your name and order number, and we'll follow up during business hours.

As long as the food is still cold, it's safe to feed and refreeze. We do our best to pack sufficient ice for the expected transit time, though we can't control the carrier once your order ships.

Please notify us within 24 hours of delivery. Photograph or record the box and damage before handling the order further, then send that documentation to us so we can work with the carrier on a resolution.

Our packages ship without a signature requirement, so UPS will leave them at your front door if you're not home. The driver photographs the delivery location and uploads it to your tracking number. Once a package is marked delivered, Raw Dog Food and Company is no longer responsible for it; please call UPS at 1-800-377-4877 to file a lost package claim.

UPS does not pick up or move packages on the following holidays. If a holiday falls on a Monday, orders ship the next business day. Please plan ahead and order in the weeks before or after:
