Shepherd Blend
This Raw Dog Food Blend is gently cold-pressure processed — a natural method that uses pure water pressure to eliminate harmful bacteria like Salmonella, E. coli, and Listeria, with zero heat. That means your dog gets all the nutritional goodness of raw food, kept completely intact. You may notice a slight color variation or irregular roll shape — this is completely normal and a natural result of the process.
The Shepherd Blend was born out of a discussion with a customer/breeder who had been having problems keeping weight on the dogs, especially during the winter. She fed this product for 3 months with great results. She had one dog who weighed 35 lbs and had not gained weight for over 2 years. In 2 months she gained 15 lbs and came into heat for the first time in over 2 years! Note: This is a blend for temporary use — it is a high fat blend not intended to feed exclusively.
Formulation Change: Shepherd Blend has been customized to meet the needs of more pet parents. We are making it easier to gently cook raw blends and to serve pets that may not be able to digest beef bone by removing the beef bone and including finely ground bone from fresh, non-GMO, antibiotic free Atlantic salmon from Norway. The salmon bones are separated from the meat, dried, and milled into a powder, making this product suitable for gently cooking.
These new blends provide the nutritional benefits without the concerns of digestion or cooking.

Love the shepherd's blend. German shepherds tend to be skinny until they reach 2 years old so having the Shepherd's Blend to feed them helps them put a bit of weight on. My dog loves his Shepherd's blend. I mix it with other raw foods that he gets.

My boy's nose comes twitching and sniffing and lays down right outside the kitchen waiting for his dinner. Then he cleans his bowl.
