FOOD SAFETY

Safety From Farm to Bowl.

Raw food for dogs only works if it's safe raw food. Every blend we sell comes from FDA-inspected facilities with NSF-certified processes, clean sourcing, and traceability.

CONFIDENCE MATTERS

Food You Can Trust

Your Pet's Health is Our Business. That's why Our Requirements and Standards are High.

  • FDA-Inspected Facility

Production happens in a facility registered and inspected by the FDA.

  • Certified Food Safety Program

HACCP or equivalent pathogen control with regular testing.

  • Full Lot Traceability

Every product can be traced back to its original source ingredients.

  • Humane Sourcing

Suppliers use humane animal welfare practices and sustainable sourcing.

  • No Shortcuts on Quality

No rendered scraps, no 3D or 4D meats, no feedlot meat.

  • USA-Based Proteins

All proteins sourced, processed, and packaged in the USA.

The Raw Dog Food Ingredients We Stand Behind.

Every ingredient in our raw dog food blends is sourced to a standard we'd feed our own pets.

  • Whole muscle, organ, and fat from humanely raised animals

  • USDA-inspected chicken, turkey, and other poultry

  • Pastured beef using the whole cow, not just scraps

  • Wild-caught, USA-origin, USDA-inspected seafood

  • Duck raised under a strict Duck Stewardship Program

  • An organic antimicrobial used as a safety step, not a preservative

Our Pet Parents Deserve the Best

How We Protect Your Pet's Food

  1. Inspect it

We inspect every shipment on arrival and reject anything that doesn't meet our temperature and condition standards.

  2. Store it

Everything goes straight into deep freeze. No thaw cycles, no temperature fluctuations, no sitting on a loading dock.

  3. Pick it

Your order is pulled from frozen stock, not thawed and re-frozen. Every product stays solid from pick to pack.

  4. Pack it

Local delivery and pickup orders stay frozen in insulated boxes. UPS shipments are packed with dry ice in insulated coolers so they arrive frozen.

Handling Raw Food at Home

Raw dog food is raw meat, and it should be handled the same way you'd handle raw meat you're preparing for yourself. A few simple practices keep everyone in the house safe, including your dog.

THE BASICS

  • Fridge Thaw

Thaw in the fridge, not on the counter

  • Dedicated Bowl

Use a dedicated bowl for raw food, not a shared serving dish

  • Keep Clean

Wash bowls, utensils, and prep surfaces with hot soapy water after each meal

  • 5 Days Max

Refrigerate thawed food (separate from human food) no more than 5 days before serving

  • Always Wash

Wash your hands after handling, the same way you would with any raw meat

“My recommendation, after several decades of recommending a variety of different diets, is to feed a fresh, whole food, and ideally raw diet. Nutrients from fresh, whole foods are not altered by processing.”
